India no longer a developing nation, says ex-CJ

VISAKHAPATNAM: India is no longer a developing country, it has already developed in all areas of science and technology and in the areas of nanotechnology, human genetics and biotechnology, observed Justice MN Venkatachalaiah, former chief justice of the Supreme Court of India. Delivering the fourth annual lecture on ‘Sri Aurobindo and Next Society’ at Andhra University here on Saturday, Venkatachalaiah said that the spiritual, cultural heritage of India has also helped in the development of science and technology and artificial intelligence. L Venugopala Reddy, vice-chancellor of Andhra University, presided over the meeting.
