… In other words, both signify the soul of the nations. As Kachikoti (2015a) argues: “Nations too have a soul and a conscience.” This argument is expressed succinctly in Sri Aurobindo's spiritual psychology. Aurobindo (1997, p. 97) argues

i flew with Pranab Mukerjee on same Jet Air flight from Delhi. I am having a fruitful & informative visit at @RSSorg headquarter Nagpur. Two wonderful meetings already with Mohan Bhagwat. Crystal clear thinker https://t.co/omykrruxgv

What we saw and heard today was Shri Mohan ‘Nehruvian’ Bhagwat. He said “No Indian is an outsider, No Indian is an enemy”. Commendable. Mera Bharat Mahan! https://t.co/02UeUMx0FA https://t.co/02UeUMx0FA

4. Both Islam & Christianity are united in insisting on full freedom to abuse & demonise Hindu faith traditions, Break up India into pieces so that they can repeat what they did in Africa--namely mass conversions & wipe out all traces of Indic faiths & culture
6. Those wearing mask of Liberalism, Marxism, socialism, Maoism-- all atheist ideologies go ballistic over Ghar Wapsi by Hindus but valiantly defend right of Islamists & Christians to convert Hindus. Acting as paid hirelings. Hindu bashing well rewarded by Islamists& Evangelicals

marut-s as prANa and indra as mind is Sri Aurobindo's interpretation. The chapter 'Indra and the Thought-Forces' in his 'Secret of the Veda' explains it beautifully.

What ur not able to understand is, if BJP wins inspite of backstabbing/ingnoring Hindus completely. BJP thinktanks will freeze in their minds that Hindutva is an impediment for development & this will be thinking of future parties too.

Obviously Modi is not a hard core hindu. He just doesntt understand hinduism deep enough. If not, he wud have 1st corrected d school syllabus that is producing batches of leftist/antiHindus each year. Just another politician who craves 4 power & wants Nobel peace prize like Nehru

Well that has a deeper culprit. The scorn for any intellectualism by sangh which is why giants like Sita Ram goel despite kept offbeat by ecosystem n the sangh, manage to inspire non sangh hindus who alone hv produced anything of value for Hindu society. Blind bhakts note.

Pranab Mukherji is not in Nagpur for fanfare and burnol moments.
The RW has got it terribly wrong.
His visit is the final nail in the 2019 coffin.
He sealed the deal that was brewing for months now.
Modi, is finished.

Modi will be remembered as a leader who sqaundered away all the trust.. and power Hindus put on him.
Hindus, have a long struggle ahead, if not an utterly dark decade

Nor do I have any tolerance for any retarded Hindu who thinks that he can reconcile the values of our shAstra-s with the ideas of that filthy imbecile, Ayn Rand.

Focussing on the present is important and there is no point in recounting too much of history or invoking mythological characters. The past may be useful as a point of reference but Sri Aurobindo emphasises on Evolution. So, public figures or organisations carry this potentiality.
Thanks but it's a bit difficult to discuss our perceptions as devotees in the public forum. All past avataras and vibhutis cease to be effective after the advent of The Mother & Sri Aurobindo. Old mantras or even the word Rishi can be obstacles, as we learn from direct disciples.
Depending upon one's background and reading, intellectual portrayal of the Masters and their legacy is bound to differ but as devotees the feeling of unity and even uniformly is most valuable. Symbolic interpretation of the Veda is Sri Aurobindo's best guide to examine the past.

This mire must harbour the orchid and the rose,
From her blind unwilling substance must emerge
A beauty that belongs to happier spheres.
