The Kumbha Mela in India brings 70 million people together, and is the largest spiritual gathering in the world. The sights of spiritual phenomena are astounding and the energy present is reputed to cleanse negative emotions from participants and infuse positive consciousness all around. Now for the first time in history, the Kumbha Mela will take place in the USA! The Kumbha Mela USA is organized under the auspices of

On September 10, 2006, an auspicious moment in time will arrive, and shall create the opening for powerful healing energy to be firmly rooted in North America. For one day, thousands of spiritual aspirants, yogis, masters and spiritual leaders will converge in California to usher in the cosmic energy to create more peace on planet Earth.

The highlights of the celebration include a powerful Vishwa Shanti Yagna, a Vedic style fire ceremony to invoke peace energy through one of the purest elements of nature, Fire, an Abhishekam, or offering of water from 21 holy rivers of India to all the deities present, and a grand procession with participation by various spiritual organizations from across the country. Homas & Aarthis will add to the festivities that are the trademark of every Kumbha Mela, and Mahaprasad, or energized food for offering to everyone, will be prepared from rice collected from thousands of homes - a symbolic representation of bringing goodwill and positivity to the celebrations and the community at large.
An intellectual understanding of the history and significance of the Kumbha Mela energies will be provided through a panel discussions headed by Kumbhamandaleshwars (Kumbha Mela officials) and other spiritual leaders. These discussions are aimed at shedding light on this age old tradition of Vedic culture, and its role in contribution towards global peace. An enthralling line up of cultural programs by various artistes and professionals will be the finale to the day's festivities.

This is a unique opportunity to purify and elevate consciousness by connecting with the terrific energy that will be present at this event, as well as to contribute one’s own light to bringing peace to Earth. This day-long event starts at 2:00 p.m. at Bren Center, UC Irvine, CA. Churches, Temples, Ashrams and other spiritual organizations can be a part of this historic event.
Be a part of this great celebration...be a part of the universal consciousness as it ushers in divine peace. For more information call 626.205.3286 / 714.396.8805 email enquiries@usakumbhamela.net
