Pranab Mukherjee & Mohan Bhagwat speeches similar, say Organiser, Panchajanya. @vasudha_ET

What is shocking is how the mere fact of defending the truth is sufficient to label a person as bigot. Unless we acknowledge the truth and come to terms with history, we cannot build a peaceful future. India (and the Islamic world) need to learn an important lesson from Germany.

Strength of character is in consistency in display of values and not necessarily in consistency of opinions. People are allowed change of opinions, change of heart, but are rarely forgiven for breaking of integrity.

I'm not Hindu but regard the silent, complicit acceptance of Hinduphobia (as against the rightful rejection of Islamophobia) by the lib-sec elite as proof that lib-secs are neither liberal, nor secular, nor elite

People who call themselves "Liberals" in India, are essentially bullies, which by definition makes them cowards. They virtue signal & pontificate by punching Hindus at every given opportunity. But they don't dare to do the same with others. Principles don't matter

My @HinduAmerican colleague @swamihaf and I unpack what the latest genetic studies do NOT mean for Indian history-along the lines of @IndianInterest's great piece. We offer David Reich's own words to demolish Dalit and Dravidian racialist theories.

Interestingly I too have analyzed the new genomic findings in relation to Shrikant Talageri's work as well as results from few other genetic studies related to R1a haplogroup. Don't miss the revelation on Rakhigarhi. https://t.co/gQIY68mG4U @ARanganathan72

Here is a news on Rakhigarhi where Niraj Rai, Shinde now seems to say no steppe gene influence, continuity of Vedic Civilization and traces of Iranian genes  https://t.co/Gfcd0sYa4o

Niraj Rai had previously claimed that Rakhigarhi DNA is similar to DNA of Jats and Brahmins living in the same area (Haryana) today. He should clarify whether is is sticking to that statement @gyanc7 @bennedose @sankrant @RajivMessage @Hiranyareta https://t.co/kfJhWh88tn

Dharma is the substrate that undergirds all the Lila that happens on the surface. Lila plays out in a cyclical manner. Ex: seasons rcyclical. What seems like good&bad appear&disappear in cyclical fashion. Dharma remains constant. But we tend2focus only the actions on surface 1n
To conclude, evolution is always towards the divine state (Aurobindo). And, evolution needs the creative impulse to sustain itself. That comes from the diversity & pluralism of dharma. Creative impulse does not emerge from homogenizing forces of exclusive belief systems 2n

Discarding Mythology in favour of Vedic symbolism is the most pertinent exercise. [What is important to readers of the Secret is whether the “new aspects and issues” that Aurobindo’s reading brought into focus are of living value to them. - Peter Heehs] https://t.co/OQjTz7qMO8

Democracy is a better lens to look at people where each individual has his or her own way of living and evolving over the years without any compulsion to stick to fixed and predetermined frameworks imposed by culture, tradition, or religion. Sri Aurobindo puts it in a Vedic vase.

All Bharatiyas are Hindus.
All Hindus are Sanghis.
So, Joydas is a Sanghi.

An interesting episode in the life of Sri Aurobindo's younger brother, Barindra Kumar Ghose, a revolutionary, provides a nice picture in contrast. [Khaserao's house was a sweet nest of repose and culture after my arduous and sordid life at B. Ghose's tea stall near Patna college]

This mire must harbour the orchid and the rose,
From her blind unwilling substance must emerge
