[DOC] The Cover-up of the Mentions to the Castes in Bhagavad Gītā
O da Cunha Botelho
… Sri Aurobindo translated chāturvarnyam as "the fourfold order," and defined it as "the fourfold law of human activity" (Aurobindo, 2004: 11), also attempting to extend something as ethnic and peculiar to Hindu culture, as the varnas …

I protest. Finland is rated the world’s most authentic democracy. Zero protests there. “Semi-literate duffers write for us!” seems to be the proud motto of TNM. https://t.co/ONFPOA6lQ1
Hence, as @AgentSaffron said if you are really serious about H survival you have not alternative but to support the lATeshvara. Sure, criticize the BJP government but do not make that a reason for handing victory to our enemies. As per your skills, and energy work at the grassroots level trying to implement the genuine H program you want.

Nothing to be surprised though. All these papers are from the early 90s. And it's not surprising that the Kashmir issue was articulated in this manner. One of the writers actually mentions that it was propaganda to show 'militants' praying because it portrays Islamic links!!
In my experience, true feminists are women who have braved many odds & live life on their own terms, without apologising or making a fuss.
Pseudo-feminists are a confused breed, who think crassness, attention-seeking & petulant aggression is empowerment.
Even I used to think that Hindu liberals are unaware of other cultures. But in this age of information being ignorant is a choice and if Hindu liberals are making that choice then they should not be seen as different to Sanghis.
"Liberal Hindus do write on the plight of Muslims, but their tone is often patronising and they suffer from implicit bias they do not even realise" argues @journalistreyaz
https://t.co/GZPqwDD3M8 My rant in @DailyO_ : If India really wants to fight the onslaught of Hindutva, it needs to break free of quasi-liberal, pretentious and hallowed discourses about inherent tolerance. https://t.co/DYFLvJht2o

We want an ecosystem. What are the thoughts/content/ ideas/ narrative that we want echoed in that system? While countering the left-liberal lies shall continue and must continue, we need to deliberate upon, list down and work to put in place our own thoughts and framework.
Not everyone can do everything. So let us identify what we are good at (besides unbridled criticism, of course) and join forces. Not everyone can correct the errors in Marxist history through research. The ones who do need to be supported by propagating facts and raising awareness.
We need to get out of our comfort zone to achieve our civilizational goals. Are we ready to put that effort? Are we willing to live a life that inspires? Are we willing to look at all Hindus as one and have the same love and affection for them as we would for, say, our family?
Are we willing to circumvent the artificial barriers of class, language, region, caste & sundry other divisions foisted on us & willingly or unwillingly, knowingly or unknowingly, embraced by us without a second thought? Are we ready to create the ecosytem that we want? I am! Are you?
Load of things to know is enormous and ignorance (or selective amnesia) makes us human. You are not aware of The Mother & Sri Aurobindo's propositions on future Evolution, for example, and that IMO is a serious intellectual impairment but then each one has his own unique profile.
No need to formulate fresh criteria; The Mother & Sri Aurobindo have accomplished it a century before. Following them is the best means to collaborate with the Evolutionary goals for the whole mankind. No better intellectual and aesthetic satisfaction than growing with SAVITRI.
I disagree, sarvesh. The consistent schwa syncope in Hindi makes it sound exactly like urdu, which in turn sounds like vowel-poor Arabic/Persian (or English) with clipped halant endings. I'd wager modern malayalam (with 80% Sanskrit vocabulary) sounds far more like original skt
Agree with @RajeevSrinivasa---Malayalam, Telugu, Kannada, preserve Sanskrit vocabulary as well as pronunciation more authentically than Hindi. Hindi is richly infused with Farsi and Arabic. Even Bahasa Malaysia appears to have more Sanskrit.
This is crystal clear if one considers Chandas, extremely important for Sanskrit verses. "Yõga" is Guru-Laghu, whereas "Yõg" is just Guru. This is just wrong. There is no way to defend it. The Guru and Laghu syllables take precise amounts of time to utter, cannot be swallowed.

No, "everything goes" is not Sanatana dharma. It's a post-modern spin on it. There is "adhikara", not every fool, or pundit, possesses this.
