This is also a history of Indian philosophy. It demonstrates how the development of a secular philosophical voice facilitated the construction of modern Indian society and the consolidation of the nationalist movement.

Modi can dodge questions, avoid press conferences, use fake news and propaganda to distract. One thing he can't do is counter criticism coming up. Answering is not an option, not answering is going to be a massive handicap.
And while Modi is there, no one else can lead.
In developed nations, men will allow women to dominate politics because politicians now have no power - all power is with the capitalists.

The 1944 annual session of the Hindu Mahasabha was chaired by Dr Syama Prasad Mookerjee. It passed a resolution on the Constitution - essentially the version of the Constitution it wanted to see. Some excerpts follow...

Why Christian Missionaries Hate Modi And RSS So Much
The connections between Bengal and RSS deserve to be better known. the founder Dr Hedgewar was a graduate of National Medical College,Calcutta; and Guruji Golwalkar, the second Sarsanghchalak, was a Brahmachari of Ramakrishna Math-Mission and a disciple of Swami Akhandananda

Reply to @Sanjays81301051 & @hesivh Pranab Mukherjee knew well that by not mentioning Vivekananda& Sri Aurobindo he was omitting the seed & plant of Indian nationalism. Yet he skipped them to glorify uniquely Nehru & Gandhi. This is a kind of historical distortion by exclusion practiced by Congies. Long ago C. R. Das had no qualm to announce Sri Aurobindo in the famous Alipore Bomb Case "... as the poet of patriotism, as the prophet of nationalism and the lover of humanity."

Secular-liberals hate Lord Ram because he is the biggest roadblock to the ‘Breaking India’ project (writes @mlessp)
Whatever values you stand for-liberal, libertarian commitment to freedom, Left commitment to social justice, Hindu dharma etc— Modi and Shah have violated all these principles.
They have come to power at the Centre for the first time and fighting against many adverse forces including disgruntled party men. There are flaws but the way they have kept overt Hindutva agenda under leash needs to be appreciated. RSS trying to reform itself is their credit too
Believing in imaginary narratives and visceral hatred is the reason for overlooking the reality and inevitability of human unity that Sri Aurobindo is talking about. Fearing other religions, nations, or the resultant jealousy are adolescent traits which are needed to be overcome.
Many Swamiji sects and Ashrams are also trying to convert Americans into different Hindu modes including Yoga.
You are restricting yourself to certain utterances of The Mother & Sri Aurobindo and a few episodes of their action. Perhaps such literal use suits your strong political views. But I will request you to look at the bigger picture as envisaged in the #ThirdDream of 1947 broadcast.
