Often the theoretical insight comes first and the observations supporting it come only later. So Copernicus built his heliocentric model mathematically and only later would Galileo demonstrate it with a telescope, just as Einstein began with an "intuition" of the theory of relativity that was only later empirically verified. I will speak more next time of the middle ground occupied by Popper, Lakatos and Kuhn. Amod Lele | June 10, 2018
Nowadays it is quite fashionable to call everything as scientific without actually understanding what science means or does. Science is inherently based on a reproducible verification of various physical phenomenon. The word reproducible here is very important since for a claim/theory to be scientific, it must be independently verifiable by another research group. This works best in physics and chemistry since there we are dealing with inanimate objects. But things start becoming very complicated when we get deeper into biology since there is too much variation among different species. And the human system is far more complex since there is an interplay between the body, mind and consciousness.

Why Indian nationalism should rest on a far firmer footing than just the noble principles of our Constitution.
What happens to the nationalism of Swami Vivekananda, Sri Aurobindo and others which was rooted in our spiritualism? Where is Bankim Chandra’s umbilical love in our Constitution? https://t.co/5hyZPGAumw via @swarajyamag

Given her popularity Priyanka Chopra can be 100X more dangerous than Arundhati Roy. There is nothing great about Priyanka Chopra in terms of looks, talent, intellect or charisma to warrant this profile building. It is the use she can be put too which is of great value.
@ArvindKejriwal was always a charlatan in my books but now he's not even pretending to hide it. I've always found him to be more dangerous than the two national parties combined. https://t.co/a3LeoRBkMh
When Hindu spirits are high on twitter, some folks always bring in this useless north/south, language BS on TL and ruin the whole vibe. What kind of sadism is this?

I am more of a shAstra guy (Even my threads on temple architecture are ultimately subservient to shAstra 😂😂)...I hope not to disappoint you...That said, I did want to write some stuff about avalokiteshvara as nArAyaNa from bauddha texts in response to your tweet. 🙂

The Veda is anathema to Marxist scholars; obscurantism for Nehruvians. South Indian Brahmins cold shoulder it since Shankara didn't endorse it. So there is a consensus that the world can run without it but Sri Aurobindo shows how it's pivotal to the human existence and Evolution.

From her blind unwilling substance must emerge
