How long the men string them along before giving the ring

... and the past, for as Sri Aurobindo said, let us address India in terms of her future need, to the greatness of her coming self-creation, to her eternal spirit.

Modi’s good governance and economics have been blended with good politics, writes Arun Jaitley.

Even if the Modi government rules India fir another 44 years it will be hard to exceed the blunder of demonetisation. Very rare instance of such a massive wound a government has inflicted on its own economy. Quackery masquerading as economic policy. #4YearsOfModiSarkar

https://t.co/OUAUzy4HVS My Foreword to @vivekagnihotri's extraordinary book #UrbanNaxals This is a gripping story of one's man's struggle to overcome tremendous odds not only to make an unusual film but also to repurpose his life. Of course, it's about the Maoist menace too.

Coming soon, my interview of @vivekagnihotri in @SwarajyaMag - on his film, his new book, on the phenomena of #UrbanNaxals, and whether the latter can ever reform, or surrender like the #FieldNaxals. https://t.co/orkMPUB1KW

Yes, in fact SCB left his studies and went to different Sanyasis and traveled. You see again I would blame our Hindutvavadi Bengalis for allowing the other side to hijack the debate on SCB and declaring him a Leftist like them. These aspects & Vivekanandas influence on SCB ignored
MN Roy developed some BS Theory based on his crappy ideology Radical Humanism which was emulated somewhat by Deendayal Upadhyay as Integral Humanism

The first part was clearly driven by Vivekananda/Aurobindo-Nivedita. It was British who would supply communist texts to revolutionaries in Jail and brainwash them. Then they would turn Marxist after that everyone knows. That's why naxals could fight underground. +

The Vedas remain the most misunderstood of the ancient teachings, whose mantric depth has been missed, except by a few with yogic insight like Sri Aurobindo, Ganapati Muni or Sri Anirvan. A new Vedic research is required. This has been one of my main projects over the years.
Agni in the Vedas is not simply the ritualistic fire but ultimately Chid-Agni, the immortal flame of Consciousness in the hearts of all being. Until we honor our global Vedic heritage we will not understand our true nature or place in cosmic evolution.

You forgot swami Dayanand Saraswati, founder of Arya Samaj, the biggest pioneer in Vedic studies

Sorry but that is a useless translation. No "translation" gets anywhere near the interpretations of Vedic scholars - if you need English, Aurobindo or RL Kashyap. Vedas are not histories. There true meaning is not in translation but in the Vedanta.

I think Varuṇa has many qualities similar to Ādi Śēsha, and hence Lakshmaṇa. I would associate Yama with Bharata, although Vāyu is the closest connection with Śankhu of Vishṇu. I would associate Agni with Śatṛghna (and Sudarśana Chakra). These deities are sometimes combined.
I didn't read Sri Aurobindo. But the deities of the Vēdas are definitely connected to the 3 Guṇas and the 4 Purushārthas. I described the 8 Dikpālas in the essay on my pinned tweet, as petals to the infinite lotus. The lotus is a very important Vishnu symbol.
My essay discussing the symbolism behind the most beautiful of Indian symbols: the lotus. With some help from the poetry of Kālidāsa, I describe how the lotus encodes the meaning of infinity. Thanks a lot for @Pragyata_ for publishing this.

I didn't read Sri Aurobindo. But it makes sense. Instead of talking in terms of Varṇa, we can also discuss the characters through the 4 Purushārthas (to which the Varṇas are connected). Please see this. The Purushārthas can be derived from the 3 Guṇas.
A single linear history for time is an illusion. We know this in quantum physics: the universe branches out in many directions.
What we experience as time is just one path out of several billion sparks spinning furiously out of a disc: the Kalachakra.

Unnecessary to discuss about consciousness or such high sciences. The west had no idea about nutrition, thinking that eating any type of food gives the same energy. Ridiculous compared to Ayurveda. It had no idea of sanitation and personal hygiene, resulting in multiple plagues.
The west had ridiculously inferior mathematics. The entire apparatus borrowed from India. Astronomical tables were copied wholesale, they had no means for calculating them. After all this, they have the gall to theorize about how and why they could invent the "scientific method".
The point is this type of bullshitting might have worked during colonial era. But it cannot work in the current age. Of course, we have Indian "scholars" ensconced in western media and academia, trying to help maintain the charade. But it is utterly hopeless when faced with data.
The sociological viewpoint is complete rubbish. It is a misapplication of history as experienced in Europe (and in the colonial occupation) to reconstruct India's past. Absolutely irrelevant to India. I hope we throw over this burden on our neck, imposed by the British.

There is something more fundamental than the 3Gs and 4Ps and they are in a way derivative of the three-in-one formulation of Sat-Chit-Ananda, argues Sri Aurobindo in The Life Divine. The Chapter on Exclusive Concentration is his most important contribution to understand diversity

some (like my mum) may even have a strong motherly feeling towards them! Kumara is also a great teacher of the highest spiritual truths since he is Swaminatha after all!
Indra, the primal deva of the Aryas, was their sovereign, their chief, their liege, bestower of victory. That said, there r Rig Vedic hymns whr Indra is addressed as a dear friend, a caring, loving parent etc. Not just a leader & king.
Thus, the relationships with the divine can be many. We can’t be just force-fitted into bowing to a strict Father figure. The teacher, the primal Yogin,
the mother, the brother, the child, the king, the liege, the chief (or “boss” as some prefer), the servant-relationship or even the lover - to b met at a clandestine rendezvous - all r equally valid. And this richness is lost when the stern Father was forced down people’s gullet.

As to white women friends, they will give you a very good understanding of how hard they have to work to get married. How many dates they have to go to, how much rejection they have to face and on top of it, how long the men string them along before giving the ring. Get a clue
And you will also realize the value of being called behen/ ma and other respectful names, whether men mean it or not. There are very limited roles for women in that universe, I can assure you of that. The Abrahamic system is brutal and despite feminism still permeates the system
Big fear is in this delusion of  west we will lose something very exquisite to our civilization - the potential of a beautiful connection between female and male that is unique to us / that enables to transcend through submission to each other
Impossible with western paradigm
