Nationalism for Tagore was a code word for imperialism

Fundamental Need for Human Sacrifice by Abrahamic Religions
A Judge - 2018
Vital prerequisite for sustainable global civilization?
Need for enemies: There are a number of studies of the deep-seated need for enemies presumably of relevance to the Abrahamic religions:
In the case of the Abrahamic religions, this need is readily transformed into a framing of each other as "evil". Somewhat ironically recent research offers related insights from mathematics -- notably on why complex society may depend on occasionally murdering innocent people

Modi govt has taken many hard steps and faced many difficult situations during the last four years. We have been opposing it from the very beginning on various counts but the overall picture at present doesn't warrant any harsh criticism. The govt needs a second term for results.

Last 4 years, Modi has resolutely focused on development. It is Con & its domestic helps in the  intellectual-media ecosystem that tried desperately to stoke identity wars & play up a phony Hindu threat, but Modi stayed the course. Some of his voters aren’t happy about it either!

Sir, please read my take on this in https://t.co/qAOc8LgPEG Among other things, "nationalism" for Tagore was a code word for imperialism, a spirit-killing expansionist machine, not the svadeshi samaj that he himself advocated, akin to "Hind Swaraj" of Gandhiji. https://t.co/4TN8BtK4Tk

Dumeels pronounce that Hindus are not thamizhs, call them aariya vandheri, while embracing Thamizh Christians and Thamizh muslims. If you think you can tell them that AIT has been debunked, I would suggest you bang your head on some granite rock instead.
Anti-Brahminism is their lifeline, so much so that they even denigrate a brutally murdered victim’s whole family.
Most of these Dumeels are educated by Kollywood movies and memes/forwards based on those movies. Most of them would be the fans of Ilaya-thalavali Vijay

I get goosebumps when I read Sitaram Goel's Macaulay Putra definition & their charecterstics as written 50+ years ago. It still holds good for the garden variety shallow liberals you see in your everyday life. Read to appreciate Goel's foresightedness. https://t.co/MA4VzgBjpP

It was a great talk by @ARanganathan72 where he pitched for Ambedkar as the father of the nation. While I don’t agree with ‘father of the nation’ concept itself but if there is to be one then Ambedkar any day deserves it more than the mediocre charlatan that Gandhi was. https://t.co/iMyOPGXZ1v

#Nehru bashing is often a symptom of an inferiority complex. He can be criticised or praised on specific issues, but sweeping abuse, innuendo and broad swipes come from those who confuse hearsay with history.

You are right; Nehru was a cosmetic freedom fighter who spent more than 10 years in jail; average scholar who wrote great books instead of mocking and abusing his rivals, whose Cong incl powerful CMs. Twitter chhodo, itihaas padho! https://t.co/KqQLMUoPOq

In a liberal society with no social pressure/oversight, there is no compulsion for men to settle/marry. trends in marriage/divorce rates are a clear indicator for this. plus look at the bloody laws, penalize men at every step .

A great article, urban naxalites poison our minds, support violence  romantically in guise of freedom, need to be exposed. FOE can never be freedom to espouse violence, support violence, violent overthrow of State; these should be ostracized  https://t.co/tJADd2NnGN

Sat, Chit and Ananda are the reflection of the Ananta (Infinite) along the three divisons of Prakṛti: Bhūh, Bhuvah and Suvah. The lotus is an apt metaphor for all the three. Aravinda means a lotus. What an apt name his parents chose for Sri Aurobindo. :)

When asked about certain aspects of Vaishnava Bhakti and how it is a new concept and not in the Vedas, Sri Aurobindo said: I don't understand this obsession for antiquity. Truth is Truth, whenever it maybe found.
