In a secular state, there is no such thing as minority

The difference between Buddhism (Shunyata) and Advaita (Brahman) is not really as wide as it may appear to be on the surface. Ironically, some scholars even consider Adi Sankaracharya to be really a Buddhist in the guise of a Hindu. Here is a very interesting attempt to reconcile these seemingly opposing views: http://www.katinkahesselink.net/tibet/atmsun.htm

Dawkins Syndrome (Read) https://t.co/anYjJrpavi

The good news is that once times get difficult again, atheism will again recede in both quantities and virulence. The bad news is that we are going to have to try to treat people born with what I suggest we call "Dawkins Syndrome" with a little more sympathy, since they probably can't help their lack of belief or behavior much more than those born with Downe's Syndrome.

How fortunate that those born with Dawkins Syndrome are so highly rational and inclined to put perfect faith in science. Surely they will accept these new scientific discoveries about their condition with grace and aplomb.

Vinayak Damodar Savarkar: He admired Hitler and other lesser-known facts about him – The Indian Express https://t.co/HsqYZ4MTxf

Nutty comment. Savarkar wasn’t heroic by any stretch of imagination. He was a fascist who admired the worse kind of European nationalism. https://t.co/srTOcT04Xb

A point blank piece by @surajitdasgupta tearing liberals for peddling their politically correct pomposity into science & knowledge. It's counter-intuitive to think that a versatile & highly adaptable species like Humans could've originated only in Africa

"In a secular state, there is no such thing as minority. I have got the same rights, status and obligations as anybody else. I wish those who consider themselves as the majority community would forget that there is any minority today in this country.” https://t.co/Arx0PVgVti

Campus activity, real word protests, etc, have become mere adjuncts to what’s happening online. You can’t understand what’s going on unless you spend a substantial part of your time immersed in the online conflict.
In short: The current political climate is a structural feature of the internet. It’s not going away. It might calm down as money and expertise flow in, but the basic structure will remain. The key goal of anyone seeking influence is now mobilisation.

With attention shifting from traditional mediums to online platforms, actors are now more open to trying their hand at content on video streaming firms.

The model that I would propose in order to achieve this is inspired by the intellectual labour of BR Ambedkar, as opposed to the thick conception found in the works of contemporary revisionists such as SN Balagangadhara and others.

Review of Life Over Two Beers by Mayuresh Didolkar in Swarajya magazine: https://t.co/pQi5e9P2kP

When you see two book launches in quick succession, Sanyal's Life Over Two Beers, and Agnihotri's Urban Naxals, one fiction and the other non-fiction , a literary challenge to the carefully-built Left citadel of publishing seems to have arrived.

Yes, “core” was not paid explicit attention to, but some of it was quietly addressed. Enforcing just the rule of law vis-a-vis foreign contributions to NGOs blunted the rice-bag-conversion industry’s edge, for example.
The ecosystem used the usual trick up its sleeve, which it will continue to do so: use fake news media to create controversies & heat (church attacks, cow vigilantism) and demand that the PM speak on them. He handled them all deftly, ceding no advantage to Con.

The constant ‘instantisation’ and projection of own views, insecurities, and preferences camouflaged as expert analysis of electoral math have made politics a spectator sports on social media. @c_aashish     https://t.co/529A8HNx4K

I wonder why we don't get heroes with the full force of creative imagination to fight for Dharma. May be, because the anti-heroes are so crap. Not worth Indra or Vāyu to get down on earth.

You somewhat echo Sri Aurobindo here. He devoted many lines to this. Gist being: Modern Europe trusts machinery and society too is a machine(system) for it. It views humans as collections of  billions of animalcules and thus ppl aim to be animals. He wrote https://twitter.com/ArpanAgarwal3/status/1001133305473847296?s=19

We return to lists today! Coming up, a list of books that guide the reader to the writings and thoughts of some eminent Indians. Approved and recommended by Prof Makrand Paranjpe

Don't expect such light comments from you. The first revolt against Gandhi under Sri Aurobindo's blessings is a landmark event which inspired many subsequent political developments like RSS, CPI, HSRA, RSP etc. So, we need to be careful about who was on the Evolutionary side.

Amazing coincidence of history. Subhas Chandra Bose’s last public speech was on 15 August, 1945. His last message in it:”There is no power on earth that can keep India enslaved. India shall be free and before long. Jai Hind” pp. 409-410, Vol 12, Netaji Collected Works.
